Jun Li got his Ph.D degree in the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1999. From 2001 to 2004 he studied the chemistry of metal catalyzed reaction at Kinki University in Japan and at Texas A&M University in USA as a postdoc. From 2004 to 2014, he got an associate professor position in the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, and studied the chemistry of oxidation of organic compounds. In 2014 he moved to RIPP, SINOPC as a senior engineer, focusing on the research of coal to chemicals. Now he is in EDRI, SINOPEC, as a project manager, conducting research on refinery optimization and upgrading.
