Philip Graham

He has more than 20 years of Investment Banking experience and joined Citi in 2006 after working at ABN Amro and Merrill Lynch in New York and Australia. Prior to that, Mr Graham was involved in launching the Commonwealth Infrastructure Fund for CBA. Mr. Graham has been involved in more than US$40bn of M&A and financing transactions across the Energy, Power and Infrastructure sectors. Mr. Graham recently advised BHP Billiton on the sale of half their Scarborough Area assets to Woodside for US$400m; QIC on their A$1.8bn acquisition of the Iona Gas Plant from EnergyAustralia; Woodside on their US$3.7bn acquisition of Apache’s LNG assets, CKI on their A$4.5bn acquisition of Envestra; and AGL on their acquisition of the Macquarie Generation assets and Loy Yang A power station for A$1.5bn and A$3.1bn respectively.Philip has a degree in Economics from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia, and is a Chartered Accountant. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
