Mahendra Kumar Rastogi is the Vice President Inspection & Reliability at M/s Bharat Oman Refineries Limited with responsibility for ensuring the reliability of static equipment in refineries and power plants.

Prior to BORL, Mahendra Kumar Rastogi worked in Inspection & Reliability at several companies, including M/s BHABHA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE, M/s LARSEN and TOUBRO and M/s INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED.  Notable are his 30 years as Senior Manager, Inspection for M/s INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED.

Mahendra Kumar Rastogi received Bachelor in Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, ROORKEE from 1975-1979.

His professional interests focus on Corrosion and Metallurgical Degradation of In-Service Static Equipment in Refineries and Petrochemicals, QA/QC Management in Construction Mega Projects of Refineries and Petrochemicals, Precommissioning/ Commissioning & turn around Management of Refineries.

He is API and ASNT-NDT Level III Licence holder and Atomic Energy certified metallurgist from BARC training school, Mumbai. He has presented several papers in various International Conferences mainly related to Asset Integrity Management.

He has Conducted Two days Training Program in Singapore Through M/s  Cue tech on “Corrosion & metallurgical Degradation of Equipment” All his papers & training Programs have got overwhelming response and lot of appreciation from participants & organizers from all over the world.
