Back in November 2016, Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources announced that it will allow private investment in refineries as part of a new set of rules and regulations aimed at revitalising the sector.
With this opening up of the refining sector in Indonesia, we realise it is more important than ever to bring together and provide a platform for investors, refiners and technology suppliers from across the globe to meet and set the agenda for the Indonesian refinery market now and for the future.
With an agenda featuring 16 more refiner speakers than in 2016, as well as a truly international delegation with refiners attending from Pertamina, Rosneft, Petronas, Bharat Oman, S-Oil, Reliance Industries, Indian Oil, NISOC and Bangchak, the 20th Annual ARTC is committed to delivering an informative, varied and interactive event for all those currently working in, or looking at Indonesia as a future investment opportunity.
New for 2017, we have included 34 technical talks and global case studies, 6 roundtables to allow you to get answers to those critical questions on brownfield technology, and over 9 hours of structured networking with a delegation that is set to break records for refiner attendance.
In 2017 we’re pleased to introduce new networking initiatives to ARTC including our popular Speed Networking and interactive round table sessions.
Case studies NOT sales pitches – our Advisory Board assess and score every technical paper to make sure that technical talks are application and outcome-oriented rather than product-focused.
Refiners come for free! The World Refining Association has reserved 50 complimentary passes for refiners and petrochemical producers to attend as our guests. Passes will be given on a first-come first-serve basis so please apply now.

After successful events in Bangkok and Singapore in 2014 and Kuala Lumpar in 2016, WRA brings the ARTC 20th Annual Meeting to Indonesia. We will be following up with the 200 senior refinery decision makers we met in 2014 and crucially to hear updates on the major projects that were discussed at the time.
ARTC is the meeting place for the Asian refining and petrochemical industry and forms part of WRA’s international portfolio of conferences dedicated to the downstream refining and petrochemical industry.
WRA will once again provide the industry with the leading forum where Asia’s senior managers outline their strategic vision for the region.
By attending this premier oil refining conference attendees will gain knowledge of the latest technologies being developed and implemented, as well as learn from case studies from some of the world’s leading refiners.
We facilitate knowledge sharing and nurturing of business partnerships within the oil and gas sector. We do so by providing face-to-face opportunities to network including conferences, exhibitions and networking evenings; independent analysis and creation of industry reports and webinars. We create events that matter.
